Video is a local video player. It plays files that are already on your phone.

What Video collects

Nothing. Video does not collect, store on a server, sell, or share any personal or device data.

No network. Video has no network permission at all. It does not send your files, library, or usage anywhere. It does not stream, download, or upload.
Local files only. Video reads the videos on your phone (with your permission) to list and play them. Resume positions are saved only on your phone in Documents/StellarTimeLock backups/Video/.
No accounts. There is no sign-up or login.
No ads. Video shows no advertising and contains no ad SDKs.
No analytics or tracking. No analytics, crash reporting, or tracking SDKs.

Videos (READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, Android 13+), or Storage (Android 12 and older): to list and play the videos on your phone. The Play build uses the system picker / scoped storage; the sideload build may optionally request all-files access to find videos on main storage.
Notifications: to show playback controls.
Foreground service (media playback): so sound keeps playing in the background.

Video is not directed to children and collects no data from anyone.

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
